Yanmar to show new high-power engine range at EIMA in Bologna
* New agricultural configuration of 155kW 4TN107 on display
* 3.8L class, 4TN101 in industrial configuration
* Stage V-compliant Power Pack showcase
* Full LV line-up, aircooled StageV compliant
Yanmar will be exhibiting in hall 15 on stand 11 at EIMA, Bologna from 7-11 November.
Carlo Giudici, Sales Director Yanmar Europe, explains that EIMA 2018 is a very important exhibition for Yanmar as the new 4TN107 engine family will be on display for the first time in its agricultural layout. The 4TN107 series delivers power up to 155kW while meeting EU Stage V emission regulations. The agricultural version has been thoughtfully designed for tractor application, featuring a customized front-end arrangement and structural oil sump with balancer shafts to dampen vibrations. Besides this, it retains the excellent performance characteristics of the industrial version: best-in-class fuel economy and power density with impressive torque at every speed range, thanks to the two-stage turbocharger. Its compactness makes life easy for tractor designers looking for operator visibility and flexible packaging. The aftertreatment system can be mounted in different positions to allow even more installation flexibility.
The 4TN101 will also be on display, in its industrial configuration. This engine is key to respond to the European market demand since it fulfills the requirements of a wide array of machines in the construction, material handling, industrial and agriculture fields. Although it has been developed almost at the same time as the 4TN107, the 4TN101 features some meaningful technical differences, arising from the different design targets.
Furthermore, the TNV Power Pack will be on display too, represented by the 4TNV98C (3.3L, naturally aspirated). This line-up of dressed engines is ideal for a variety of agricultural machinery, including irrigation pumps. Giudici adds, “It comes ready to be installed on the machine. Compact layout, superb durability, long maintenance intervals and reduced life-cycle cost make it a really versatile engine, exactly what the agricultural market requires.”
Last but not the least, on the stand there will be also the complete line-up of the StageV air-cooled LV-series, including a L70V with long maintenance intervals kit and the tiny L48V, the smallest industrial diesel engine, equipped with a diesel oxidation catalyst.
With beginnings in Osaka, Japan in 1912, Yanmar was the first ever to succeed in making a compact diesel engine of a practical size in 1933. Moving on, with industrial diesel engines as the cornerstone of the enterprise, Yanmar has continued to expand its product range, services, and expertise to deliver total solutions as an industrial equipment manufacturer. As a provider of small and large engines, agricultural machinery and facilities, construction equipment, energy systems, marine, machine tools, and components — Yanmar’s global business operations span seven domains.
On land, at sea, and in the city, Yanmar’s Mission of “providing sustainable solutions focused on the challenges customers face, in food production and harnessing power, thereby enriching people’s lives for all our tomorrows,” stands testament to Yanmar’s determination to providing us with “A Sustainable Future.” For more information, visit us at https://www.yanmar.com/eu/About-Us/
